A wall of dust moved through and reduced visibility to a few feet. 5 E Las Animas.

Wider weather episode

A cold front moved south across the region during the late afternoon and evening, providing a period of high northerly winds to southern Colorado. Multiple wind gust reports in excess of 60 mph were noted, that helped develop a dust storm, or haboob. As this dust storm moved through portions of the plains, visibility was reduced to near zero at times.
