A local Emergency Manager informed us of a potential waterspout based on pictures on social media. Waterspout was confirmed based on photographic evidence. This happened around south Cannon Beach early in the afternoon.

The wider storm

The waterspout formed in a cool trough following a cold front. The cold front moved ashore early in the morning.

Began near Tillamook Head (45.8800, -123.9700).
