Cold/Wind Chill in Olmsted, Minnesota

An elderly lady wandered away from a senior living center on the southwest side of Rochester during the early morning of October 26th. She was later found in snow a few blocks away from the center after spending a few hours outdoors with air temperatures around 20 and wind chills near 10. The cause of death was likely hypothermia.

An elderly lady was found dead on the southwest side of Rochester (Olmsted County) with the death likely caused by hypothermia. The lady wandered away from a senior living center during the early morning of October 26th and spent several hours outside when air temperatures were around 20 degrees with wind chills near 10. In addition, she was found in the snow that fell the previous day.
