Winds generally were gusting to 50 to 55 mph. In East Walpole at 905 AM EST, a large tree was down on wires on Endean Drive.

In the wake of a cold front, strong to damaging west to northwest winds blew across the region, aided by mixing due to a very cold pool of air aloft.
