Wider weather episode
A pre-frontal squall line moved across the local area during the pre-dawn hours. Dynamical forcing was strong including deep layer shear and low level helicity values supportive of strong downburst wind and isolated tornadoes, but instability was overall lacking across the local area to support a widespread severe storm threat. A nose of instability just ahead of the squall line edged inland across portions of the Suwannee River Valley during the early morning hours, which phased with stronger dynamics with the squall lien and produced a few strong to severe storms.
