High pressure remained situated over California on December 19 which provided for another night with clear skies and light winds along with inversion conditions over the San Joaquin Valley. Areas of dense fog formed over the central San Joaquin Valley from the State Route 99 corridor eastward during the morning of December 19 and persisted until late morning when the fog dissipated.
