Although a low pressure system moved through southern California, high pressure remained in control over northern California during the morning of December 24. Clear skies and light winds over San Joaquin Valley from northern Kern County northward resulted in another morning of dense fog along the State Route 99 corridor from Delano northward. The fog dissipated by late morning as the low to the south of our area provided for some mixing to take place.
