Snowfall of 6 to 7 inches was reported across the area.

Another early season arctic airmass moved into the Billings Forecast Area toward the end of the month. At the same time, a strong upper level disturbance combined with moisture off the Pacific resulted in an overrunning event across south central Montana. The combination of these factors brought another round of heavy, wet snow to a large portion of the forecast area.
