Hanford reported visibility below a quarter mile. California Highway Patrol reported visibility below 500 feet at the intersection of 15th Ave. and Grangeville Blvd at 0706 PST.

A low pressure system moving through the Pacific Northwest provided enough mixing to keep dense fog confined to a portion of eastern Kings, western Tulare and central Fresno Counties during the morning of January 12 for a few hours. The fog dissipated by late morning.
