Estimated SNOTEL snow amounts were: Bear Canyon 14.5 inches, Garfield Ranger Station 16 inches, Smiley Mountain 16 inches, Stickney Mill 11 inches, and Swede Peak 17 inches.

Wider weather episode

A moist Pacific storm brought very heavy snow to high elevations of southeast Idaho with many mountain locations receiving over a foot of snow. Low elevations of the Wood River Valley also received heavy snow. Road closures occurred in the Upper Snake Highlands.
