Estimated snow amounts from SNOTEL sites were: Giveout 13 inches, Slug Creek Divide 13 inches, and Somsen Ranch 11 inches.

Wider weather episode

A moist Pacific storm brought very heavy snow to high elevations of southeast Idaho with many mountain locations receiving over a foot of snow. Low elevations of the Wood River Valley also received heavy snow. Road closures occurred in the Upper Snake Highlands.
