A member of the public, 3 miles northwest of Rathdrum, reported 4.8 inches of new snow accumulation.

Wider weather episode

A quick hitting system dropped in from the northwest and brought light-to-moderate snow to northern Idaho overnight into Tuesday morning, November 10th. It was not a big snow producer, but numerous locations across the Northern Idaho Panhandle received up to 4-6 in a 12 hour period. Being an overnight event, the snow brought slower, more cautious morning commutes.
