Portions of the Orange County coast saw periods of dense fog. John Wayne Airport ASOS reports dense fog with visibility as low as 1/8th of a mile.

A mid-level area of low pressure swung its way across the southwestern U.S., which brought damaging winds and very dry conditions to portions of Southern California. Some places along the coast also saw dense fog.
