Mudslides reported in Sectors Los Padilla y La Vega in Barrio Sabana along Road PR-569. Road became impassable.

Wider weather episode

A low-level trough near the area provided sufficient low-level moisture. The available moisture combined with daytime heating and local effects to generate heavy showers across interior PR. Steering flow was very light, resulting in slow-moving showers.
