A MESONET station, 5 miles northwest of Winchester, measured a wind gust to 61 mph.

A wet and vigorous low pressure system brought snow and strong winds across the northern Idaho Panhandle on the evening of November 12th into November 13th. The heavy, wet snow impacted morning commutes and led numerous road closures throughout the day. The snow was followed by strong winds across much of the central and southern portions of the Panhandle in the afternoon and early evening hours. Gusty winds were observed in the Lewis-Clark Valley and Camas Prairie reaching 45-60 mph.
