A clipper system moved across the region, bringing snowfall to the northern Black Hills area. A prolonged period of occasional upslope-enhanced snow brought significant accumulations to portions of the northern Black Hills, especially from Lead to Cheyenne Crossing, where eight to 15 inches were reported. Western portions of the central Black Hills received three to six inches of snow over an 18 to 24 hour period.
