Wider weather episode

A moist occluded front pushed across Washington on December 16th into the early morning hours of December 17th. With the easterly to southeasterly flow, this resulted in enhanced upslope where precipitation amounts were enhanced with the frontal passage. The moderate and heavy snowfall kept to central Washington. Light snowfall and low land rain fell across the remainder of eastern Washington and Idaho Panhandle region due to warmer temperatures.
