Wider weather episode
A quick moving upper level system crossed the Rockies on this day, bringing very strong winds to all of the higher terrain and parts of the I-25 corridor. This system also brought a quick blast of snow to the mountains. The higher wind gusts and this snow helped provide a setup for snow squalls, which were observed over parts of Chaffee county.
