In the mountains of Los Angeles county, winter storm conditions developed. Above 5000 feet, 6 to 12 inches of snowfall was reported. Additionally, southerly winds, gusting up to 45 MPH, were reported.
Wider weather episode
A cold, early season, winter storm impacted the area. Rainfall totals generally ranged between 0.50 and 1.50 inches. With these rainfall totals, numerous reports of nuisance roadway flooding were reported. In the mountains, snow levels dropped to around 4000 feet. Above 5000 foot elevation, 6 to 12 inches of snowfall was reported.
