Reported blizzard conditions seventeen miles north of Harrison with visibility 100 yards or less throughout much of the morning and strong winds. Nearby RAWS mesonet station Montrose reported frequent wind gusts to 50 MPH.

Strong winds and heavy snowfall resulted in blizzard conditions for most locations across the Nebraska Panhandle. Area roads were closed for multiple days as crews needed time to clear snow drifts off roadways.
