Severe drought ended early in the month.

Below normal rainfall occurred over the Brush Country during the month with very little rainfall over the western portion of the Brush Country. Severe to extreme drought continued Webb County and expanded into southwestern Duval County. Severe drought persisted over western La Salle County during the month. Severe drought over portions of the Coastal Bend improved early in the month.
