Haines United States Border Control Customs Station reported 12 inches of snow in 24 hours at around 8 pm.

A low pressure system tracked northward with it's associated front extending out over the eastern gulf and outer coast. E to SE winds increased with the front, then shifted to the south in the late afternoon and decreased.
