Event narrative
Light snow began falling during the early morning hours of January 5, increasing in intensity through the evening and overnight hours of the 6th. In a 24 hour period, NWAC snowfall data indicated a little over 20 inches of new snow near the Mount Baker Ski Resort. Snow then quickly tapered through the rest of the morning on the 6th.
