At 1154 PM EST on March 12, a mesonet site in Newton measured a sustained wind of 42 mph. At 1234 AM EST on March 13, a CWOP station in Cambridge measured a wind gust to 61 mph. In Medford at 1020 PM EST, amateur radio operators reported a tree and wires down on Keith Road at Lincoln Road.

In the wake of an arctic cold front, strong northwest winds occurred across southern New England during the evening of March 12th and the overnight hours on March 13th. These winds caused scattered damage.
