In Rockport at 545 PM EDT (445 PM EST), a CWOP station recorded a wind gust to 50 mph. In Salem at 535 PM EDT (435 PM EST), an amateur radio operator reported a tree down on a car on Winthrop Street.

An arctic cold front moved from north to south across southern New England during the afternoon and early evening, producing scattered snow squalls and strong west-northwest winds gusting to 45 to 55 mph.
