Up to 3 inches of snow fell across Van Buren County. Social media reports indicated 2.5 inches of snow fell in Fall Creek Falls State Park.

Rain spread across Middle Tennessee during the afternoon hours on January 7, then changed to snow across southern and eastern parts of Middle Tennessee during the evening hours before ending in the early morning hours on January 8. A mesoscale band of heavier snow dropped up to 5 inches of snow in a small area of eastern Lewis County, southeast Hickman County, southwest Williamson County, and western Maury County. Up to 4 inches of snow also fell on the Cumberland Plateau.
