Strong and gusty northeast winds impacted both Anacapa and Santa Cruz Islands. Peak wind reports from the islands indicated gusts up to 67 MPH.
Wider weather episode
Very strong and gusty Santa Ana winds impacted many areas of Ventura and Los Angeles counties. Northeasterly winds, gusting up to 99 MPH, were reported across many areas. The gusty winds did produce numerous reports of downed small trees and branches.
