Observers around Hillsboro reported snowfall amounts of 5.5 to 7.7 inches of snow.

An Arctic cold front pushed in from the east while a deep upper trough was moving through the Four Corners region. Snowfall amounts up to 9 inches fell in Gila region and Sacramento Mountains while over 4 inches fell in parts of the lowlands.
