The Swan Valley COOP observer recorded 8 inches of snow. SNOTEL estimates were: 20 inches at Slug Creek Divide and 16 inches at Somsen Ranch. Idaho State Highway 34 was closed from 9 miles east of Soda Springs to the Wyoming state line due to the snow and wind combination.
