A unique set-up of southeast low-level winds and enhanced surface convergence lead to heavy lake effect snowfall across parts of NE lower Michigan. Multiple reports of over 12 of snowfall came across Arenac and Iosco counties, including a 30 hour storm-total report of 20 in Arenac county.
