Heavy snow was limited to elevations above 7 thousand feet. SNOTEL amounts were: 30.4 inches at Garfield Ranger Station, 19 inches at Smiley Mountain, and 12.4 inches at Stickney Mill.

Wider weather episode

The final winter storm of the month brought very heavy high mountain snow as well as strong gusty winds in the 40 to 60 mph range which again closed many roads.
