Mesonet station Bear Creek.
Wider weather episode
A strong upper level system moved over the Rockies during this period and supported stronger winds across parts of southern Colorado, especially the higher terrain. A persistent upslope setup was also in place during this time and allowed for a period of light, to occasionally moderate, snow across the Central Mountains. Snowfall amounts were limited, however, some isolated higher amounts did occur around Monarch Pass.
