Event narrative

Thunderstorm winds snapped off several trees that were 10 to 12 inches in diameter on the south side of Fredericktown. One of the trees fell against a house causing moderate damage. A roof was torn off of a metal garage as well.

Wider weather episode

A cold front moved through the region triggering showers and storms. Some of the storms became severe with several reports of damaging winds and large hail.
