Event narrative

An empty semi truck was blown over on Highway 65B in Clinton with damage to at least one building in the same area. NWS storm survey concluded damage was caused by straight-line winds.

Wider weather episode

Strong to severe storms moved across the state on April 7th and again on April 9th and 10th associated with the passage two cold fronts. Large hail and damaging winds were the main impacts noted.
