The sheriff's office reported 1 inch of ice in Clinton by 6:00 AM on the 27th, with up to 2 inches of ice at the higher elevations. Arkansas Highway 254 was closed due to fallen power poles. Trees and power lines were down across the county.
A marina on Greers Ferry Lake reported four docks were damaged, six boats were sunk, and about two dozen other boats were damaged. A yellow poplar tree fell in the Clinton Cemetery. Many trees were down across the county.
