Observer located fifteen miles northeast of Lusk measured 6.0 inches of snowfall.

Wider weather episode

Winter storm produced widespread snowfall across southeastern Wyoming during the middle portion of the month. Higher terrain across Carbon and Albany Counties measured heavy snowfall amounts along with an observer up in Niobrara County. Interstate 80 was closed due to the winter weather for close to twelve hours between Walcott Junction and Laramie with an estimated private trucking company loss of one million dollars per hour closed.
