Exceptional(D4) drought remained in place across the whole zone. The Buckhorn Cooperative Observer reported 0.35 inches of precipitation which was 0.37 inches below normal.

Wider weather episode

Another month of below average precipitation for much of the area kept all areas in at least Severe(D2) drought with many areas in Exceptional(D4) drought conditions.
