The entire zone remained in Severe(D2) drought through the month of March. The Cooperative Observer at Hillsboro reported 0.09 inches of precipitation which was 0.21 inches below normal.
The wider storm
Another month of below average precipitation for much of the area kept all areas in at least Severe(D2) drought with many areas in Exceptional(D4) drought conditions.
