A severe thunderstorm produced large hail measured to be the size of quarters southeast of Stoner.
Wider weather episode
A midlevel trough lifted across western Colorado and produced scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms. Increased instability fueled stronger thunderstorms across portions of southwest Colorado. These stronger storms produced frequent lightning, heavy rain, and large hail.
