A large upper level system slowly moved across the region during this time frame, providing an extended period of moderate to heavy snow across the region. The widespread heavier snow did lessen in coverage towards the end of the period, however, continued to focus across the Palmer Divide. Moderate to heavy snow persisted in this location along with high winds, with blizzard conditions noted across far northern El Paso county. Highest snowfall amounts of around two feet were also observed in this location.
