As an upper level system approached from the west, a cold front dropped south through the region during this period. This assisted with a period of deep upslope flow focused across the Pikes Peak region, supporting the highest snowfall totals in this location. Highest totals were in the 8 to 10 inch range across the Pikes Peak region.
