Widespread roadway flooding occurred in Hammonton. Water rescues took place at the intersection of North Packard Street and East Pleasant Street, and at the intersection of Central Avenue and Valley Avenue.

Thunderstorms brought locally heavy rain to parts of southern New Jersey in the late afternoon and early evening of June 8. Rainfall totals up to 3 inches were reported.
