A spotter measured a 67 mph gust. Numerous large tree limbs were blown down.

A storm tracked from west to east across East Tennessee, producing spots of damaging winds from Morgan County to Carter County. Much of the damage was focused in Hamblen County, near Cherokee Lake and Panther Creek State Park.
