The Long County 911 Call Center reported a tree down on Arnall Drive in Ludowici.

Wider weather episode

A strong low pressure system approaching from the west, led to a warm front advancing north through the area late morning into early afternoon hours, followed by a period of higher instability and stronger shear ahead of a cold front advancing into the area during late evening hours. The pattern led to rounds of thunderstorms, mainly in the form of lines with the passing fronts, a few of which became severe with damaging winds across southeast Georgia.
