Big Rock RAWS measured gusts around 50 mph with a peak gust of 57 mph.

In the wake of a cold front and a cold upper trough overhead, strong northwest winds were observed across the Greater Bay Area in mid to late May. Observations showed gusts along the coast exceeding 50 mph with area peaks reaching 60 plus mph.
