Exceptional(D4) drought remained in place across the whole zone. The Buckhorn Cooperative Observer reported 0.05 inches of precipitation which was 0.18 inches below normal.
Wider weather episode
Another dry month for most of the the region except for some above normal precipitation totals in the higher elevations. No change was noted in drought categories from how March ended.
