Weatherflow site XOFP on the Okaloosa Island Fishing Pier recorded an 85 mph thunderstorm wind gust.

The active Spring storm season continued with another round of severe storms Friday night into Saturday. A strong storm system moved across the area. Ahead of this system, a very moist and unstable airmass developed, setting the stage for widespread severe storm development. These storms moved across the marine and produced numerous reports of high wind gusts.
