During the late afternoon hours of July 8th, a complex of thunderstorms associated with a weak upper level low pressure system moved through much of central Indiana. As they entered east central Indiana, one complex of storms began to bow before producing brief damage in Rush County. Winds were estimated at 85 to 95 mph in that swath of damage with little other damage noted with the other storms during the day.
