Corpus Christi Naval Air Station ASOS measured a gust to 53 knots.

Strong thunderstorms moved through the Coastal Bend during the evening hours of the 11th. The storms reached the coastal waters of the Middle Texas coast by late evening and continued into the early morning hours of the 12th. The storms produced wind gusts generally ranging from 35 to 45 knots with gusts up to 50 knots around Corpus Christi Naval Air Station.
