Event narrative

Several snowfall reports from the Coeur d'Alene and Post Falls metro area indicated snowfall amounts ranging from 3 to 4 inches. Temperatures warmed above freezing around 8am on the 10th making additional accumulations light.

Wider weather episode

A quick hitting system dropped in from the northwest and brought light-to-moderate snow to northern Idaho overnight into Tuesday morning, November 10th. It was not a big snow producer, but numerous locations across the Northern Idaho Panhandle received up to 4-6 in a 12 hour period. Being an overnight event, the snow brought slower, more cautious morning commutes.
